Re: Friday Facts #404 - Frustration not found

The blueprint thing is amazing. What I'd really appreciate is being able to set up spidertron patrols or conditions. So if a spidertron ends up low on rockets it can go back to base to restock or repair. Or if I draw a big path around my perimeter wall and then connected the end-point with the start...

Re: Identify and set stack size based on input signal.

I ended up just going with that design in the end. Now the only thing I do to set up a new requester or provider station is to change the name of the station itself, the rest gets sorted out as soon as the chests have items in them. 0eNrtXWty4zYSvgt/bolZgiQedFX2BJP5Nf9SExclwTJrKFLhwzOuKR8g99iT7UkWkG...

Re: Editor mode movement speed slow

I never touched that panel. Good that you got it figured out, but just so you know, there are hotkeys for changing the speed. You may have accidentally pressed one of these even if youโ€™re sure you never did it in the panel. That was probably what happened in the first place, thought for what reason...

Identify and set stack size based on input signal.

I have a basic setup for train stations that lets me set what resource goes in and out manually. The deciders at each station keep track of how many trains worth of resources are available and how many are being requested, I then use this information to decide what resource is the bottleneck and exp...

Re: Editor mode movement speed slow

Just tried this, it wasn't the problem. Game runs at 16x which is the standard I believe? I never touched that panel. 1x is the standard. 16x is 16 times faster than the standard. The editor movement speed works identically to the god controller movement speed in that: it expects to move X tiles pe...

Re: Editor mode movement speed slow

Did you change the game speed though the editor GUI? On really high speed (*32 and *64), you move significantly slower, just like you described. Just tried this, it wasn't the problem. Game runs at 16x which is the standard I believe? I never touched that panel. Log file and a save file would help....

Editor mode movement speed slow

Hello, The editor mode usually lets you move around at high speeds, however on this save mine has suddenly slowed down to a crawl. The speed increases slighly if I zoom out, but it is still quite slow, about 10% of the original speed. I originally thought this to be a problem with Space Exploration ...

Suggestion for Biter behaviour improvement(?)

I've had this idea for a long while now, and I actually haven't checked the forums to see if this has been suggested yet or if a mod like this exists so if it has or does respectively, my apologies, I didn't intend to plagiarize. As it is biters are mostly a pest that don't pose a threat unless it's...
