When you have a tech in the bottom row selected you can scroll to the next row by pressing down on the left stick. Same thing works when you have something in the top row selected and press up. That's very nice, but not easily findable. If a new user goes to look up a technology on the wiki, how is he going to know to go to that page?

Sounds like a good plan to me. I added the text to the Lab page, except I linked to the more generic "Inserters" page rather than to the "Inserter" page.

And I agree with your point about negative text.

And just for the sake of completeness, there IS an answer to my original question.

It's called "toggle free cursor" - a Switch only feature that is engaged by pressing the right joy stick (which, yes, is also a button).

On the Chemical plant, does it have official names/designations for the two fluid inputs? There's a Switch specific issue that I'm going to explain on the Wiki - I can just arbitrarily label the inputs A & B, otherwise.
