I think this would be a nice upgrade to round everything off at the end, add it as another research level required after the 4th stack size bonus of belts and after all the other hand size bonuses have been researched, It is purely endgame related, and by that point power consumption/swing speed is ...

I do not see where this would be used. Currently, the only buildings that output items directly onto belts (that have been revealed or already in the base game) are the mining drills(burner and electric) from the current game, and from the expansion big mining drill and recycler. Alternately flipping drills to keep their connections lined up would be a pain. A blueprint would have to have an even number of drills to be tileable. one of the last FFF revealed that they have fixed flipping and mirroring fluid inputs and outputs so I think that it would be fine in that regard I...

[boskid][1.1.103] Burner mining drill drops on wrong side of belt

Inconsistent behavior of burner mining drill compared to electric drill and inserter.
Found three orientations where the burner drill drops on the wrong side of the belt compared to other entities, this seems inconsistent with every other orientation.
