inserter stack size problems
what I want, for example, is to get exactly 50 copper-plates into one chest. yet the stack-bonus for inserters makes it 51 each and every time. It is logical, because 51/3 = 17 . those 17 stacks get taken no matter what, so how do I stop that and make it that the inserter only picks 2 copper-plates ...

Re: combinator counter
It appears that maybe you are misunderstanding how the decider combinator in the middle should work? You created a green loop from output to input. The loop will only hold negative signals because that's what the condition says. Adding a positive signal of 1 will increase the looped signal by 1 and...

Re: combinator counter
It might be useful to attach the save file, especially since there are wires from the network in question leading out of what's visible. Also it is somewhat hard to tell what's going on, at least for me. EDIT: The "+" combinator is adding zero, each/each, right? All combinators add togeth...

Re: combinator counter
I basicly set up a counter. the filter inserter gets the filter command from the constant combinator to the right minus the item count in the chest (steel icon). the filter inserter scans the incoming items, gives the signal via red cable to the arithmetic combinator. the signal gets multiplied with...

Re: "unequal" option compair conditions,
well, just to be clear. I was thinking about this as an option for the arithmetik combiner, not the inserter. I do know that these options are often requested for the inserters (which I am also part off ^^, but the spectrum should definetly be widened to the combiners and activation conditions. More...

"unequal" option compair conditions,
this could be useful for all network applications (which I recently needed) and I think I recently found a bug where the condition "item < 0" would allow positiv and negative values to be proceced (decider combinator), although the condition logicly wouldnt. and there would also be an idea...

combinator counter
the combinator counter adds positive inputs even if the condition is "signal < 0". although I have use for this and this option needs to remain, its confusing for creating network conditions. "unequal" seems to be more fitting in this condition and I do think this needs to be imp...

reset counter
is it possible to reset the counter on a decider combinator without removing the output/input wire? recently I started to experiment alot with such set ups and it gets annoying to sacrifice a cable each time I want to reset the counter. especially when I have multiple of them. Mistakes happen all th...

More Signals, cable colors
I am more and more experimenting with the combiners and networks and think that I quickly run out of the right signal types to keep an oversight over the network and be able to trouble shoot. One of the best options for the network are the A, B , C, D, ..... options at the end of the list. While the...

Re: [0.13] Make inserter stack bonus individually configurable
well I guess I found a way some days ago. This also works for any inserter now. if u activate the wireless network for the inseter or connect a wire to a pole u get the menu for the inserter. enable "on hand scanning" and the condition "activate if: item < wanted item number". It...

Re: About lane swapping (underground belt trick): art?
Pretty strange imo. I mean there are so many features that could inherit this and yet an underground belt is suposed to do this? ....... I would suggest that this could be given to the belt scanner, which then could block a chosen/set up side of the belt. This would help the usage of 1 belt for 2 di...
