Thoughts by system; If you use single track with passing loops then Longer is better than more, as single track will get clogged up quickly as trains have to wait in passing loops and the start-stop of waiting will increase fuel costs. Steam power, pah. Go 100% solar, then when everything shuts down you can swear a lot and attempt to set up an automatic solar panel factory only to find you need power for that... And that is why i have a bank of idle steam engines using the standard "only start when capacitors are nearly empty...

Hopefully it will be added, as building airfields at bases and flying between them certainly beats driving or dodging trains! (though i put my OTTD skills to work and build safe networks, rather annoying you have to build Ro-Ro stations as trains won't reverse out)
