Re: Friday Facts #404 - Frustration not found

It'd also be nice if spidertrons could be driven remotely, similarly to how you plan to do it with trains. It'd make sense given we have a remote. Sure, sending movement orders with the remote will work, but I sometimes find it nicer to manually move a spidertron. Plus it could make us feel a little...

Re: Friday Facts #396 - Sound improvements in 2.0

I've always found it weird that the vehicles sounds get higher pitched as you go faster. I mean, it makes sense as you're accelerating more, but once the vehicle has to stop working as hard to get to its desired velocity, you'd expect it to get less noisy. Re: Just how the heck do you upload a mod to the portal?

I'm doing exactly as you're saying; I haven't fiddled with the settings at all, yet it's using store as its compression method instead of DEFLATE.
I'm suspecting it's not set to use DEFLATE for some odd reason, so how do I change the compression method?
Thanks for any replies in advance.

[FIXED] Just how the heck do you upload a mod to the portal?

Edit: For anybody else having this issue: If you're using 7z to compress your mod and you can't upload it because the mod portal cannot read info.json, be sure you're clicking "Add to Archive..." in the context menu, not "Add to <mod folder>.zip" Be sure you're adding to a .zip ...
