I did find this line in the log a bit curious:

Simulated?! And it happened at regular intervals. :lol:

Well, I am testing this with my brother now. It desyncs all the time, and downloads the map again. Although we play over the internet, we both have 75/75 Mbps, and we are connected to the same physical node at the ISP, so we have a very good connection, with low latency.
