I would like to propose to move all stacking recipes locked behind stage 2 and 3 to be moved to stage 1.
In my opinion, the main benefit of stage 2 and 3 is the increased speed by using red/blue belts. the recipes themselves should not be gated.

Since many mods add fluids with a fuel value, it would be awesome to have that fuel value shown in WIIRUF as a tooltip or listed.

Since this FFF has quite an impact on many bigger mods, I'm curious if a) you have some developers playing with mods (bobs, angels, etc) and b) have any critical voices against those changes in the team?

If this is true, its excellent news. But I would like a confirmation. By log you mean the messages you get can see after upgrading the mod, right? It would be nice to state it on the starting page of this thread or somewhere else, where you can see it before upgrading. I am not very keen of upgradi...

at my new game, i just arrived where strand casting would be an option. now i wonder, have there been changes to it? from what i can tell, strand casting mk1 is exactly the same yield as if you just go with induction furnaces and regular casting machines. It's not quite that good. One enriched fuel block only covers 100MJ, so this yields 200MJ/s worth of fuel, or 160MW with MK3 boilers.

Are you using beans or more advanced crops? I've been looking at alternatives but you have to provide like fertilizer and stuff and I'm not sure the increased yields are worth it when beans are an order of magnitude simpler. Yes, the reactor turbines are the only power provider during the night. Afaik gears just turn slower if there isn't enough power.
