Currently I'm stuck researching Lab Effectivity 1 and I don't think I'm able to make the Science Packs I need for it. I've loaded 100 of packs 1 & 2 in and it still isn't doing anything. Saving with no name entered crashes the game. Could be fixed by just auto filling it with something standard like Save Game 1 or some such.

Sounds like a great concept. Although I would prefer the option of researching Alien language and the further you progress the more you can interact with them. At first just getting basic stuff coming up when they attack you to eventually being able to trade with them if you aren't ruining the plane...
