Personally, I would prefer a Randomize button over a Random pulldown setting, but I see the point of having it in the pulldown as well... If map generation settings were persistent between sessions, you could just leave things on Random all the time. I would like to see both, but if I could only cho...

As far as I know it is Because they are subcomponents that are only placed/removed when the main building is placed/removed. For sanitys sake it is safer just to make them non destructible rather then account for every combination that could break the scripts if one more more pieces gets destroyed....

Are you using any other mods? Perhaps that is the reason mine are showing below, while yours is on the right, as with the mods I have loaded, they have icons to the right of yours.

My Factorio is indeed 0.14.9, and I was using the x.30 copy of your mod for that screenshot.

Did you make a change to coal? Last game I played on 0.13.x, coal was giving me coal 'ore', 2 other forms of coal, and dirt. Now, on 0.14.x, coal is just giving me coal 'ore', and 1 other form of coal (the roundish icon, not the pile icon), and no dirt. Perhaps that depended on another mod I am not ...
