[0.10.0] constructors returning inside roboport too soon
When ordering a very massive deconstruction (about the square size of a roboport) and I have 100 constructors in the port, they make a few trips, recharge, then go inside the roboport, then come back out and continue deconstruction. previously they would not be required to go into the roboport after...

Yes. I'd host it but it's 47MB

Re: [0.9.8] Trains going north<->south shorter than east<->w
I found this very annoying. As a workaround I only use east-west oriented train stations... they're just better.

[0.9.8] sometimes can't place blueprints
Please see

It should not be marked resolved, this is most definitely still a bug. It happens to me quite regularly, even when there is nothing in the way for 2-3 tiles of space. As the poster said, save/load fixes the issue.

[0.9.8] (harmless bug) map generation terrain mismatches
Image of the mismatch, in minimap (note the sharp edges between grass and sand) http://squisher.co/s/factorio1.png To reproduce (I think) head one direction far enough that it generates new map. (purple path) Then swing around and head towards that same spot from the opposite direction (green path) ...

Re: Trains vs conveyors?
Trains +Very high cargo capacity +Very responsive to supply changes +The player can use the train to get to and from distant resource bases +Track is not attacked by biters (?confirm?) and the loco can kill biters (very fun!) -Complex to set up (the track, the automatic network and manufacturing th...

WOW LOL, had no idea factorio used so much memory. I'm at 1.3 Gig memory footprint. Now I'm glad I invested in 12 Gig total memory. Lol

Re: Save game file size + autosave lags
Well, think I figured out the primary cause of the save file size growing. I ran in a straight line with max exoskeletons and game speed 3, and checked out my save game size periodically. It made a sudden jump from 15 to 20 MB, then another leap from 20 to 29 MB. I would assume as I reached a certai...

[0.9.8] copying smart inserter settings jams the inserter
Copying smart inserter logistics settings appears to work, that is, the icon and count show up on the destination inserter, but the destination inserter doesn't always work until you manually update its settings. Ascii screenshot: [roboport] [storage chest S with walls] [wooden chest with copper bar...

..even though they do copy logistic chest settings.
It's pretty basic but let me know if you need more info to reproduce!

Re: Save game file size + autosave lags
Ha, didn't even think of trying a ramdisk. Saves are local to the factorio folder in the .zip version of factorio. (you can actually tweak it in the [path] section of config.ini) So then you can copy the whole Factorio folder to a ramdisk and run it from there, and saves will be on the ramdisk. Bad ...

Re: Resource depletion or infinite resources?
Hum, nobody's mentioned blueprints in this thread? I'm pretty sure that is one of the primary purposes of blueprints, its another form of automation - it helps you automate your new ore locations. Once I've set up my drilling and smelting operations at my first gigantic-sized ore patch (not the star...

Sips announced he'd be ending the series after video #6 - due to things getting too complicated -- and he's barely scratched the surface!! Grrrr... I might unsubscribe lol. Agreed. I have never found healing to be a problem, the natural regen (and later modular shields + regen) to be plenty. It's a harsh world but you can survive!

Save game file size + autosave lags
Even on my screamin' gaming rig + SSD drives, each autosave lags my computer momentarily and it gets annoyingly noticeable when the save file passes about the 10 MB mark. Any tips / mods to clean up the save file? Or plans to fix this in the future? (Turning off autosave doesn't count!) As an experi...
