I don't think an MMO economy would work out too well for this game, maybe for a sequel though. But custom scenarios with economic goals instead of survival could be really cool. There doesn't seem to be any game mechanic right now that awards effeciency though other than research time so I'm not sur...

What I'd like to see is research for increasing the explosive area of damage for your rockets so you could just fire a bunch of them and knock out all the creepers rushing you at the same time you destroy their base. [idea] Mini assembler
I'd like to see a mini assembler that is 2x2 tiles (or smaller) that can do gears or wire or anything that only requires one input material. It could run at a slower rate than the bigger ones but it could be cheaper to research and build.

I think the Save button is so you can save a replay of that game. It would be nice to have a Load button too though.

Losing health while driving
Often when I'm attacked by an alien I will get in my car and drive away but I continue to lose health until I get out of my car again even when there are no aliens nearby. Maybe there is an alien hiding in the backseat but he seems to go away if I get out and back into the car.

I'd love to be able to make fighting units but I'm not sure full RTS controls would be a good idea especially for PvP where it would be too easy for players to disrupt production and shut everything down too quickly. The graphic I'd like to see improved the most is the resources/terrain/hills* set. To me the hills are very jarring, hard to tell apart from mineral resources, and the gray clashes with the gray of most of the factory machines.
