It's not the balance I am worried about, it's the performance. Attacks from groups of that size visibly slows down my computer when I am close to the fight.

There seems to be some problem with enemies. I constantly get attacked by swarms of the weakest enemies. It slowly starts to slow down the game when an attack occurs. Shouldn't they switch to smaller amount of bigger enemies? Check the lower right corner. That's a single attack force. I get attacked...

Was something changed in bitter behavior model? I started my first game in 0.12 and they really swarm me now. In 0.11 I could just rush for a dozen burner drills and set up a basic automated factory before fist attack, now I had to scrap automated mining/smelting as it was too difficult to defend it...

The problem is that in 0.12 turrets required much less power to fire than they do in 0.12.1. I tested it on an older save and in 0.12 I could easily maintain 20-30 turrets firing, and in 0.12.1 the same turrets, in the same spot, caused my power grid to go yellow from the drain. From Laser Turret description? I guess constant drain is 24kW, when it fires it takes 6.2MW. I got the pre patch value from Wiki.

Oh, I just checked Wiki. Laser Turret had 600 kW drain, now it has 6 MW... ten times more. Did I miss it in patch or something?

With the way the personal roboport is set up, it could be a huge bonus to drones. Let the drones recharge and rearm by attaching to the player, and recall them when they're nearly drained with no action. From what I remember, the alien evolution level is capped at 1.0 and it's growth is based on several factors, pollution, destroyed bases and time. All I could do is hit the 1.0 cap. Not that difficult for someone using steam engines rather than solar power.
