Honestly I think space management is a large part of it, it is for me at least, trying to get what you want in the least possible space. At the same time, like mentioned by kovarex, it's simpler to make and learn 1 object, and try using it different ways than learning to use 10 different track objec...

Yeah, i have noticed this improvement too. But if the incoming material is sometimes on the middle of the belt, it has to be at least the first construction. You can see the disadvantage of you transport belt in the second picture. (Could be solved with another transport belt trick, but that would ...

You could try using 0.2.10 and see if that works, click the "experimental release" to go to the experimental ones. 0.2.10 doesn't seem to have any major bugs, so it should be fine.

You're sure they don't overwrite? I assumed so to begin with, there's 3 autosaves, 4 simply overwrites 1, in which case save interval shouldn't have much effect on disk use.

Did you put science packs in the lab? You need to provide labs with power and science packs of the appropriate color(s) of them to work.

You could have done a search first to see I've already suggested two of those, and added yours to that thread instead of making a new one :p

In other words, the furnace should need coal + flux to convert ore => plate
