I think that turrets and walls should be allowed to be moved around. As your base expands it's only natural to do this.

Uh. I wasn't clear enough. Allegro probably reinits opengl context on it's own on resize, and this might be the cause of the problem. Without reinit there are strange visual artifacts all over the screen. If loading and message handling are in different threads, then, probably, the image that is bei...

Well, you can speed up the first case to the same speed as the second by putting 3 blue inserters in front of AMs that are making ESs.ssilk wrote:It's very often discussed here, that copper wires on belts is a bad idea.

Just some wild guess, probably completely unrelated. When I was messing with SDL+OpenGL, I had problems with window resizing on mac os x. After awhile I figured that opengl context must be reinited after window resize, in order for viewport to display picture properly. Another note, may be unrelated...

First victory
With biters settings next to max. This is my 2nd attempt in freeplay. First one is still going, but I find it way too easy on standard settings. My appreciation to FishSandwich. Ha. I usually maximize game window during loading (right after start)...
Now I tried to wait till the end of loading and then maximize.
No missing images so far.
So ... my guess is - during maximization the game might skip/fail to load an image.

I restarted the game and the flickering gone, but this time wires were totally missing. All the time. But their shadows were in place. The question is - why shortage of coal on separate system affects water flow in a system that is well fed with coal?-root wrote: So yeah, water wasn't hot enough therefore it was drawing the water faster to try and get the production out of the steam engines.

It's very strange... But when I fixed coal shortage of upper pack of boilers, the water pressure issue resolved itself!
p.s. Water temperature in 5th boiler in chain is 100. Is there any sense in adding more?
