Re: [16.3][Linux] Video hang on game exit
Nope, using `kill -9 $(pidof factorio)` still makes my PC hang. I can't switch to a TTY (like talchas said, input is frozen), but I can log in with SSH and see that Factorio is using an entire core of the CPU. I could try to run Factorio with a debugger via SSH. It probably won't give much more info...

Re: [16.3][Linux] Video hang on game exit
On 0.16.10 and 0.16.12, the game also hangs for me when I click exit or the "close window" button on the top-right. Using Ubuntu 16.04 with XFCE, Linux kernel 4.10-42, NVIDIA drivers 384.90. Doesn't stop me from playing Factorio though, I'll just make sure I close all other programs before...

Re: Version 0.16.9
Having significant issues with this build as to provider chests losing connection to the network on load, requesters not getting what they request until replaced or buffer toggled, and eventual crashing... Also had some issues trying to save a game, softlocking at the saving progress bar. Game heav...

I like that idea, then buffer chests could be a combination between active requester and passive provider chestsmh_ wrote: As for the chest situation, I would advocate for 4 types of chests: (Active/Passive) (Provider/Requester) chests.

Re: Friday Facts #221 - 0.16 is out
The FFF are truly great, they answered my biggest two questions about the 0.16 release today :D My opinion on the buffer chests: - To me, it seems intuitive to give requester chests higher priority than buffer chests. The contents of requester chests are mostly directly used in the assembly line, wh...

i want t-shirts too, i bet you will sale all t-shirt before end of week! My guess will be before the end of the day that they will put the store online  What I'm wondering: in the image on tile transitions in the FFF, the path tiles were laying adjacent to the water. Does that mean it will fin...

I am pretty sure, they will release .16 @ xmas!!111 :P But which xmas? ;) The oracle is pretty sure the release will happen around xmas this year. It might happen in another plane of the multiversum though. So not sure whether we have to send someone through the portal to actually get it. Portal gu...

Re: Version 0.15.33
Why does the last line still refer to the experimental version if 0.15 has already been declared stable? 0.15.31 has been declared stable, but this new version might still contain game-crashing bugs that the devs do not know about. They made 0.15.32 and 0.15.33 experimental versions and will probab...

I have the same issue on Linux/Steam, I tried the following two options, neither of them work.
Code: Select all
--window-size=maximized
--window-size maximized

Re: Version 0.15.26
I put together a list of issue needs fixing that could easily be down in an afternoon. Here is some Inconsistencies in the game. I use the Map Editor a great deal and it is often easiest to explain an issue using the Editor as everything is available to the user. <insert list here> I think it's bet...

Re: [HanziQ] [14.7] Crash when changing rail on: "RailPathFinder::findPath"
Had a similiar crash for about three times when trying to create a T-split with a blueprint, while there were trains scheduled to drive over the already existing straight track. It seemed to me, that on the moment the signals were placed (i.e. new rail segments were created), the crash occured. The ...
