Re: Friday Facts #128 - Back down to earth

I like the idea of the Loader, but you need to provide more information of how you want it to work. Almost all the feedback seems to be kneejerk reactions based of personal assumption. We really need more information to make informed decisions.

Re: Version 0.12.22

Right. It's been a while since i made my account, so i don't remember what's required, but is there something preventing bots from making accounts?

Another thing would be limiting new accounts so that the first post or two requires moderator approval.

I keep getting notifications in my mail about updates to various threads, and then not finding anything new posted. I've had several for this thread now. Re: Friday Facts #122 - Better circuit network (Part 1)

FFF not up yet! It is now. Edit; Roboport is connectable to the circuit network. It sends the logistic network contents. Does this also apply to both active and item robots in the network? (Preferably separately) Being able to just have a smart inserter load robots into a roboport until a set numbe...

Re: Friday Facts #118 - Improving productivity

It's the multiplayer bro. IMO the devs think that once multiplayer works right enough to be on par with other steam games that make use of the steam friends/server systems, (client/server browser, laghiding, multiplayer objectives etc) then they can make some real bank and establish "street cr...

I'm still hoping those 8leggers are mining bots.

Seriously, with how important mining is to the game, there should be more options to it.

Actually no, I'm sorry, I'm confusing myself again. Laser Turret Shooting Speed would increase laser turret's power consumption in 0.11 as well, so it's working as intended. Only on larger scales. So, it's intended behavior? Does the research state that it increases power consumption? No, it doesn'...

Reaction; Timetables? Ooh, trains! Oh, guess not... Interesting though. I like the new turrets. Looking at them though, it struck me that we still have only one tier of them. Shouldn't we have several, of several techlevels, like with other things? Yellow, red, blue, for example. We only have yellow...

So, i don't know if the devs are still watching this thread, but i've got a question about 0.12 Providing that both the launching platform and the spaceship are present, will we be able to launch items into space? Re: Friday Facts #84 The wedding day preprations

I stumbled across factorio via worth a buy and was fascinated by the complexity of the building mechanics. After playing some time without mods, I have finally given in and implemented peace mod, since I've found that I want to have a chance to just go lego. I assume you mean this peace mod ? I've ...

The way i imagine it works is, that each type of alien is worth a certain amount of points. When a raid is being sent, how many, and what kind, is determined by how many points of irritation (or whatever) the alien grouping have. Once the points gets beyond a certain level, a larger critter, worth m...

Re: Friday Facts #80 - Crazy start

Is the launch automatic, or do you need to trigger it somehow? If it needs to be triggered, for example via a button in the silo UI, then freezing the character is a fairly good idea, as you then know where they are in relation of the distance from the silo, and it insures that the freeze wouldn't b...

Well, since we're throwing out suggestions about it, how about a nice button to press, preferably with a shortcut key. You put the chest down, chose item, default amount, press button or key.
