The terrain should be exactly the same... but isn't that what the Map Seed section is for? I mean I would think that made more sense if the map seed was for terrain procedural generation and based on what Cube said I'm guessing it's just to copy the map generation settings like starting area size, ...

you are designing newer modules to your base, and then wear down half your pic putting up and tearing down 'til you're finally satisfied with it. Then your pick breaks when you add it in and update your base.

Any possibility this mod could also have compatable components for the Dytech mod? [Request] Simplified Textures Pack

Some of the builds in my Tips & Tricks thread can seem a bit complicated when an image is given and with the current textures it looks a bit too noisy with all the details. I was hoping to ask about a texture pack which gives a simplified version of belts, inserters, powerlines, assemblers, etc....

?? say what now.. dont boilers just heat the water.. and that in turn is pulled into the engines as they evaporate it.. doesn't multiple boiler arrays feeding a single pipe just cause the pipes water supply to be hot and draw in more hot liquid if drained? =( so im guessing the pumps that feed the ...

wow, I'm really digging the compact steam engine designs. Though one thing to note, if I recall correctly, you can only pump so much water though the pipes. So no matter how many pumps you have, they all shouldn't be connected. At least that's what I think I remember about making steam setups, each ...

It's a good idea to put rail signals on the parts of a track that you will traffic across often, this will give you a heads up if a train is coming and spare you the annoyance of becoming railkill I do not think this is a good tip at all.
