Yeah, but I want make sure I can run it in future. Maybe if devs answer on this.. :roll: The game will only become more ressource efficient. Not more ressource hungry. ;) How so? I want a more complex game, with actual ground robots. Such thing will grind the CPU to a halt. I am not sure about mods...

I use a very cheap notebook which has only a dualcore processor and integrated graphics - it can run 0.12.x very well (previous versions were laggy).
So I assume it will run more than good on your new notebook.

But will the new trailer be recorded in a resolution of 3840x2160 (4K) with 60fps?
I know it isn't necessarily needed but it would be future-proof and make the 0.3% of the people happy which have fast internet and a 4K sreen.

Still haven't got an official reply for this question.

With Vsync on there is no tearing.
I only wondered why FRAPS says I have 60fps constantly but get tearing anyways - shouldn't there be no tearing if there are "only" 60fps?

Difference is, one is live real world footage filmed on a $10k 4k camera and the other is gameplay footage, wouldn't make much of a difference, all you would need to do if they had a 1080p screen I imagine would just be to record on a 4k monitor or just render the footage in 4k. Of course - if it would cause problems or would hard for them to do - they should just make it in 1080p @ 60fps - no problem with that.

But if it is just one click more and 30 more minutes of rendertime they should go for 4K @ 60fps

I haven't seen the video you are talking about but I would suggest you watch a video of Jacob and Katie Schwarz whichw as uploaded in 4K and watch it in 720p - it looks like no other video which was just uploaded in 720p or 1080p. There was once an article or video where that phenomenon is explained...

I am very curious if the developers are going for a 4K (3840x2160) trailer with 60 frames per second or not. They would benefit from the fact that YouTube videos recorded in 4K look better even when watched in lower resolutions. Another benefit would be that the trailer would be "future-proof&q...

Tearing without Vsync but only 60fps - GTX 780 AMP

No matter if I select Vsync or not I always "only" have 60fps. Also I get tearing even though I don't have more than 60fps (measured with FRAPS).
I am using the nVidia GTX 780 GPU (as the Zotac AMP version).

I encountered a problem where power lines do not connect from a pole to a new one if the already connected pole is connected to 5 other poles already.

I noticed that inserters, which face upwards and output items on an upwards faceing belt now lay it down on the right side of the belt. In the previous version it was the left side. This change made big parts of my first ever factory unusable. It would be great if you would look into this or made a ...
