Re: Factorio update (working on 0.3.0)
Thanks for the lengthy reply :) Question regarding the subscription though. It says I will be informed about new posts in that forum? Thats not really the point though as I dont want to be informed about everyone posting "WHEN IS IT OUT!????" in this thread. A subscription for new THREADS ...

Re: Factorio update (working on 0.3.0)
Seriously, for the sake of the forum server, tell us! Otherwise this will get F5'd for the next 12 hours :p email notification will save forum from your GET requests :D Is there already an email notification in place for the updates? I never even got the mail that Factorio can now be purchased (eve...

Re: Item Explosion
This is so cool, I need to play around with making some specific patterns out of that.

Re: Any production spreadsheet
I second this notion. I'd really like to see some hard numbers on things, like how much water can one pump supply? How much can one boiler heat? How long does one unit of steal take to forge? People should just start measuring it. Once the community gets bigger, the Wiki will fill up with that info...

Re: Awaited Indie Games Thread
Random aside, but probably relevant to people in this thread: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=517647 I created a monthly thread series of recently released and upcoming Indie Games over on NeoGAF. The april thread is already done and contains 25 more released and 20 other upcoming games...

Re: Opening the source?
On my opinion opensourcing the game right now from start would be bad idea. Why? As soon as you do this you can forget about earning much money with it. And since some members of development team quit their regular jobs to work on this game I hardly doubt they would be OK with this since it would m...

Factorio pictures/gifs for advertising?
Hey, I created a thread of neoGAF about Factorio earlier ( http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=527028 ). I hope the roughly 1000 views will translate to some copy purchases on your side today and tomorrow (period of highest activity and impact for new threads) :) Anyway, I wanted to ask whe...

Re: How to add the player starting position in the Map Edito
Ah thanks, finally found it
You should maybe implement some tooltips for the "entities" on the left side as well
In case someone who knows reads this: How often do the devs plan on updating the game? Once a month? Once every 2 weeks? Irregularly?

How to add the player starting position in the Map Editor?
Hey, first post here.
How can I add the player start position in the map editor? I found the option to open the editing window ("e"), but I cant seem to find how to add the player starting position. Without the position, you apparently cant save the map.
