When it says (the ip of your friend)dropped then let him try to connect again it already happend to me and my friend a few times and just trying to connect again always works for us.

it doesn't seem to be working for multyplayer

btw if you wanna test if it works in multyplayer i will help with that i'm able to run a 0.11.6 server so we can easly test it but please dont instadly make it work for multyplayer on 0.11.8 because whenever someone tries to connect to a 0.11.8 server people seem to crash
