I had this idea... how about a "smart" assembly machine that can do items that require 2 steps for exsample : step 1: iron plates > gears step 2: iron plate + gear > belt you probebly think that this is OP (it kinda is, but so is 1K laser turrets) so it would be very expencive !!! this wou...

Random idea that makes (atleast i think it does) the game more simple.
an index that gives every item a value for exsample :
wood = 1
stone = 2
...
...
this would make altering a crafting resipe and some modding allot easyer !

Having some chemical part of the game is one of the things I'm looking forward to have. Once i get to know the modding part i could try to add some sort of herb to the mod.
