You could make the pollution data and information overlay a separate entry in the key bindings, then if someone would want them separated, he can just change the key binding of one.

Thank you for the explanation Holy-Fire, although I must admit I was a bit tired when I typed my reply at 4am. It's an interesting thing none the less, finding continuous functions for things we previously only knew as discrete.

Hey all, look at the guy who removed a full chest while already having a full inventory.

In all seriousness though, this is a good idea. I do think it should take up quite a few slots, so you'd have to specialize your armor.

I personally think the existing controls for accumulator/steam engine control is a perfect example of awesome engineering. The game gave you some (limited) tools, and he "invented" a control circuit to toggle the energy-source. I do think there should be somewhat of a challenge to building...

I believe power generation isn't the only source of pollution, mines, assemblers and furnaces also generate pollution. So you won't be free of pollution unless you only generate so much as the trees can clean up.

I have the same problem. Not only do worms spawn inside my base, enemy bases also spawn there! I had to run an emergency line towards the right base because they were destroying my rails.

It's an open space, but aliens would have to get past the turrets on the perimeter to get there normally.

Could it be that when you'd create all base materials(gear wheels, circuit and belt), that you'd end up with one of them left? Because that could indicate the raw requirements being rounded down incorrectly.
