Sulphur Dioxide isn't a Gas, it's a Liquid, it doesn't vent. You need to use a chemical lab to turn it into either Sulfur, or Sulfuric Acid, each of which already have plenty of uses. The optics and transistor icons are the ones that immidiately catches my attention. Beautiful work overall.

What size are these intended to be used? I'm worried that some are a bit too detailed to work well if shrunk.

For storage tanks, I'm often as interested in the trend as in the actual net content. Would it be possible to add an interface to storage tanks that shows a graph of the level for the last 24 hrs or so? Maybe it has already been suggested, or exists as a mod. I get a zombie entity when I remove a generator. In the picture, there used to be a generator in place of the red frame. Even though I removed the generator, it's not possible to place anything where it used to be. The hitbox is also there if you try to walk across. Are you running factorio 0.12.11...

I can't help to like it. This is how inefficient, unreliable, and expensive sustainable energy production is in the real world. The problem is solar is way too efficient, reliable, and cheap.

If we really need/want to know what's going on in the background, I suggest that info is put somewhere else on the screen (and only as long as we're in alpha).

I understand that the "Loading sprites..." is kind of a statement in itself, but it only makes sense to players who know what a sprite is. I assume that when we go to Steam we also want to target and make a cool first impression on players that don't know what a sprite is, so here we go......

I would like to be able to see the version number in the main menu. Perhaps in the bottom right corner in white text. It bothers me to have to go into the about to check it.

I totally back this. Sounds easy to implement and awsome as a play mode, even for single player. Real factory workers have to sleep, too; right? If you're defences are not in total order you pay the real price.

If that concept screenshot were the only options presented to the player... I would scream very loudly to get it changed. A simplified version with preset settings isn't a bad thing, but would be aimed at newbie players... or perhaps if achievements were implemented, it could be a requirement that ...
