my game froze after using the blueprint item for the first time. I'd never previously used them, I created a blueprint and selected an area around my steel production to see how it worked. I cancelled the blueprint selection by pressing q. I then went to the blueprint to pick it up and delete it from my inventory. This froze my game and I could only escape by ending the Factorio process in the windows task manager. I can consistently re-produce this freeze by following the same process.
To re-cap, here are the steps I took to create the problem:
1. Ran down below the furnaces at my steel production area.
2. Crafted a blueprint (for the first time).
3. Accessed my inventory.
4. Selected the blueprint with my cursor.
5. Dragged a medium-small sized area around my steel production near me.
6. After dragging the selection box around a number of objects I cancelled the production by pressing Q.
7. Opened up the inventory again.
8. Selected the blueprint with cursor and started to move it.
9. Game freezes.
10. Forcefully crash Factorio with the task manager to end the frozen game.
I'm not sure which log to include, because after the game crashed I loaded the game menu to find out the game version number, then I went to get the log from the factorio-previous (seen as I launched the game after the freeze happened). so I've included the factorio-previous from the FIRST TIME this happened, and the factorio-current from the MOST RECENT time I re-produced the crash.
