Have a rifle equipped in the first weapon slot (second also works if you're going to use a tank.) Craft magazines. Observe the blinking icon for the ammo in the lower right corner. Sit in a car or tank. Notice the icon in the same position still blinking even though the crafted magazines don't go there.

Thx for the report, fixed for 0.11.20 (It wasn't also possible to insert ammo to the tank/car other way then by shift-click or q, quite strange no one noticed).
