copper wires generally constitute about 90%+ (or about 75%+ in your case) of your copper consumption (as opposed to a sizably smaller fraction for iron gears), and are also almost exclusively used for circuit boards that are relentlessly devoured by later techs. That results in an absolutely staggering copper consumption.

You can probably do a double-split and send 3/4ths of your copper directly into wire-processing straight out of the smelters and save some space elsewhere. Iron is trickier, as you will likely need supply-level valves to regulate production of gears and steel.

As much as I hate to use them, productivity modules are a best-bet for relieving the strain on copper supplies once you start dealing with circuit-board-intense factory setups. The pollution is off the charts, but loading a full rack into wire, greenboard, and mod factories will help overall consumption rates.
