How do I find out the seed of the map I'm playing?
I really like this seed and I'd like to play it again with a few different parameters/mods, but I can't find out what the seed is. Any help appreciated

Load the game, but instead of clicking "Load", click "Map Exchange String". Copy that to the box in the map generator.

Already answered, but I would just like to add that sometimes (at least in my experience), even when using the exchange string, it doesn't create an exact duplicate. Just a heads up if you decide to use it multiple times :p

WHERE IS THE MAP STRING THING?
Re: How do I find out the seed of the map I'm playing?
1) save a map
2) load the map and don't press load yet
3) Bottom left there is a button for the map exchange string
note: does not work for maps created with scenario.

Is there a way, within a mod, to utilize the map seed as a variable in a function? say, a randomizing function?
