--Long Description--
Do you dream of big machines?
If so then this is the mod for you!
Image
(Blame Imgur for the darker picture :( (it has been brightened up a little bit) )

Easy setup to empty the Bucket Wheel Excavator(Note: It is an older version so It looks different, but functions still the same in newer versions!)
Image

Bucket Wheel Mining Drill
It is about the size of 10 basic mining drills, but mines 14 times faster than 1 basic mininig drill.
It creates quite alot of pollution since for one, it doesn't use water to "clean" the air of particles that comes as a result of mining(atleast thats what they do in real life)
It is highly adviced to have all of its output put straight into a chest, though an express belt may work, thought i have yet to test that myself.
Mk 1 Mines 14 times faster than a normal mining drill
Mk 2 Mines nearly 42 times faster than a normal mining drill
Mk 3 Mines nearly 126 times faster than a normal mining drill(tryeing to compete with other mods ;) )
All with increasing mining radiuses!

Ore Unloader
Image
A machine for fast emptying of copper ore, iron ore and coal from cargo wagons!
Note: Don't use the iventory limiter in it. Since if you set it too low, it may actually make the machine eat up items ;)
Mk 1 Transfers 25 items per second!
Mk 2 Transfers 50 items per second!
Mk 3 Transfers 100 items per second!

Download: At the bottom of this post.

For those of you that are interested in it's rather interesting "How it evolved" part then have fun reading/taking a look at :)

What is to come next?
Create a machine for fast loading of trains(only ores!) -I'm really loving the fact that modding Factorio is so easy compared to other games :D!
Create a new machine specifically for creating mining equipment, huge parts need even bigger factories :)!.
Maybe create a mining drill that is in between the bucket wheel excavator and the basic mining drill?

Known Issue
The Ore Unloader cannot be rotated. That is because it is a chest and there isn't a way for rotating a chest, or atleast from what i know :|
Never the less feel free to use it however you look as all sides should work and it will find the cargo wagon!
Not really an issue, but don't use the limit inv function as it will just end up "deleting" all the ores it trye to transfer :/

Changelog:
V. 0.3.4 16th October
Compatible with multiple surfaces
Factorio 0.12.11+ compatible
V. 0.3.3 9 August 2015

Now it has a new and improved texture with a working shadow again!
Pollution have been decreased to 101
Why it was WIP: Fixed the collision and selection box to let you empty ore from all the sides, though it looks best when placing stuff on all sides but the right as the mining head will clip the chest if there is.

Improved animation with 25 % more frames
Minor changes on the texture

V. 0.0.2
Changed the recipe to a more expensive recipe
Lowered the amount of pollution it creates by ALOT 900 -> ~138! ( )

HOLY MOLY a mod spotlight :D!
Do you mind waiting until i got the ore unloader done, as i as of writing this post just got it to work(no duping here(though it teleports stuff) :) ), and its awesome :D!

Edit
Now the ore unloader is in the game, and working with no known ways for having it dupe stuff :)!
So now you are free to do a spotlight if you wish :D!

I'm really glad that someone finished a Bucket Wheel Excavator mod after I abandoned mine 4 or 5 months ago.
You did a really great job!

Nice. I do dream of big machines, and this needs to be BIGGER! I'd like to see an excavator that wipes out entire ore patches by itself because it is about the size of the entire ore patch. This is my kind of awesome. Please keep it up.

I'm sorry to say, but that would have to be on the expense of the animation :(
#We would like bigger than 2048 X 2048 spritesheets :D !

Wait nooo I must have uploaded the wrong file or something as i thought i fixed that. To fix it just put an = next to the > symbol in the info.lua file. As I'm currently not on my pc to do it myself if you are too impatient ;)

Anyone else getting an error when placing a burner mining drill? For some reason it's not assigning anything to ent in the control file, and failing to do anything on line 41.

EDIT: Also stone furnace. I got a bad feeling about this...

EDIT 2: Line 40, change from createdentity -> created_entity. Solves the issue so far.
