I updated Landfill to 0.10.2:

Fixed: crashing when mousing landfills over walls
Added: Bigger landfill
Added: Water-be-gone

The Bigger landfill is 4 times the size of the standard landfill and crafts with 4 of the standard landfills.

The Water-be-gone will attempt to flood-fill a body of water it's placed in using landfills or bigger landfills from your inventory. If you don't have enough landfills it will tell you how many you need to fill what you're trying to place it in.

Still missing half the mod. Oky you can fill water, but when would it be possible to dig for water ? In fact that's the thing i miss the most. I know this break the game, but would be really nice, maybe you can make it cost a lot ?

I could make a separate mod that lets you dig out land for those who want it. Any ideas on what it should it cost to make?

Water-be-gone doesn't update the minimap when filled:

That's supposed to happen automatically when tiles are changed, so this must be a Factorio bug.

Oh well, at least it's fixed if you scan with radar... so I just put a couple and let them scan the "new land."

You can also just place and mine anything to update the minimap.

the idea,
and why for the production of the land could be used from the sand and stone .. Dytech

and another option to open technology, terraforming,
creation and discovery of water is just convenient for protection :)

Hi,

I'm going to be trying out this mod, but I have found a minor bug in the Landfill\prototypes\entities.lua, that causes the game to crash during the load process ...

The games gives an error message as the mod sound links are to incorrect file formats.
Both links are to a wav file instead of an ogg file.

Changing the default to
repair_sound = { filename = "__base__/sound/manual-repair-simple.ogg" },
mined_sound = { filename = "__base__/sound/deconstruct-bricks.ogg" },
makes the game load properly again.

Edit - I see it was addressed unofficially 2 pages ago. Hmm.

I updated the version I posted a little while ago and fixed it so it refunds the items if you place them in an invalid spot.

Sorry for the sudden disappearance, I got busy.

Please, feel free to use, re-use, adapt, discard, mock, or otherwise find entertainment in my code. If you want to credit me that's up to you but to be honest I'm not bothered.
I'm just happy if someone finds it useful.
