Actually I wouldn't bother if anyone wants to take it over.

I sadly can't code myself. I can only fix little things. Here is the update though:

Hi there,

One of my members undergone a problem with your mod :p perhaps you could fix it!

baldurs1982:
i have a problem with power switch mod. I made a chain: pole - power switch - pole, and as i turn off power switch the chain becomes : pole - pole. This means, some how wires jumps from power switch to poles.

I got around this by increasing the range the wires from the switch will reach

What file did u change? I have had a nose around but can't find a simple "range" value (if only it was that simple?)

The line is maximum_wire_distance
I have mine set to 8, which is greater than the small pole's range, so that the poles will never connect, but the switch can still be in a supply area

This mod has serious problems with any electric poles wires.

MAIN Reason is because this switch can not be placed at the end of the line. So the wires dont attach to the power switch alone.
The electrical wires remain attached to the poles and to the switch and looks tangled up.
Also because the radius around the switch itself is too small to be able to electrically activate any machine next to the switch.

Damn I really need this mod to work..............

This mod has had issues for a while, it's not being maintained, and is probably more broken in 0.12.0.

As an alternative you could try this (description here). It's not exactly the same but it can help get a similar result.

I already wrote that I discontinued maintining it. However the new combinators in 0.12 should cover anything this mod had to offer (and more) anyway.
