HI

https://www.dropbox.com/s/r4xwbamh924stdh/0.zip

here is the situation on the save:

a big roboport network. in the roboport far east, 200 or so idle logistic bots

under the roboport north, at the edge of the piping, there are three assembly machines making processing units.

those are short of electronic circuits.

far west, where the train station are, there are lot of circuits in a passive provider chest.

I need to motivate those 200 lazy bots! :D

Requester chest for the processing units (electronic circuits to 200 or 300)

if the Requester chest is requesing 60 and all 60 is in logistic bots on the way the new bots will not be send till thay get there and ues.

not a bug

if you hover on the chest there are no requests shown incoming

1) are the roboport networks linked?
2) all the chest in the green area?

Hm. I've been looking around there. There is indeed something strange there, cause when I load the game, after a while the bots suddenly begin to transport all the stuff. When I waited some minutes the circuits are reduced from over 1.1 k down to less then 200.

I remember also situations, where something was wrong with the bots and after restarting the game it worked, but I had the feeling, that this didn't happen anymore since 0.9.5 or so. Currently I would say, something with the used mods?

PS: You have much too much advanced circuit production, but I think you know that. :)

Requester chest for the processing units
is requesing 10 Electronic circuit and thay are on the way but the processing units needs 20 Electronic circuit x by 2 or 3.
add 1x per Speed module
add 1x for 200km.

so for you 80 to 100 wood work ok

Right. But there is another fishy thing. There are others requesters, which requests electric circuits. In the beginning the two providers for electric circuits show incoming of only about 30. Then after a while this rises to more then 60.

Oh no missing from the save are the upgraded production modules factories :)

Oh, in the center there where even more circuit factories I removed after noticing I had plenty circuits unused. Anyway there seems to be plenty jobs for those 200 idle robots to take.

Try dumping the 100 steel, the local bot will resupply you and the far one will keep idling

I think somehow distance factors in in bot selection to have local bots preferred a bit too much.

Also, if you pick them by hand and drop in the factory center they do find jobs to take

I also checked the save, and I believe it is correct as those robots transporting electronic circuits are on the way.
As it takes some time to transport it, these chests are usually empty.

When I changed the request count to 100, lot of robots started to bring more circuits there.

I close this as not a bug.

All

This sounds exactly like the issue I was seeing where in the supply network, you would see items being stored instead of being delivered to the requester chest.
