Factorio on opensuse tumbleweed linux crashes when tabbed out/ peeking at desktop/ looking at another desktop while the game is paused:

I think it is not one world specific because I tried it on a new map and it also crashed

Oh actually I forgot to mention an important thing, which could be the cause: I believe that all the crashes happened when I turned off my monitor, because now that I think about it I've never seen it crash, it was always just on the crash screen when I turned on the monitor

Thanks for the report. This is an SDL bug that has been fixed in more recent versions.

Fixed for Factorio 2.0.
