Why is the automation in the game so difficult? Instead of the familiar logical elements that are taught in school and used everywhere, some complex in-game mathematics are being used that are impossible to understand without a bottle of vodka???

Try Satisfactory if you think the automation is complex in this game. In Satisfactory, the mid-to-end game is ultra-complex and requires a lot of know-how when you get the final space elevator parts fabricated and launched.
