What I'm thinking is a structure that works as an in-between for your power production and power consumption, allowing you to "turn off" power to different areas.
For example:
One PCS is set up between steam engines and the rest of the base. Another is set up between power supply and a bunch of assemblers. A third is set up between solar panels/accumulators and base. From any control station, power connection at any station can be connected or disconnected. It wouldn't allow for automated power control, but it would make things simpler.
Or perhaps the PCS's could be used to change power supply priority?
Just an idea

Close, but not quite. What you linked is just like putting a physical switch in place, which you have to go to to toggle, though from what it says there's no range limitSuperSandro2000 wrote:https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =14&t=5552
My idea, would open an interface where you could toggle the switch remotely, and name the terminals so you know what you're toggling
