So do those pictures actually work? :) Top row: Electronics 1, 2 and 3, oil processing, advanced circuits? Bottom row: Modular armor, alien research, cars, automated rail, material processing?

last one on the top row is more likely blueprints

Ah yes, that does seem like a better fit :) (besides, I guess advanced circuits isn't a research option per se - can't check right now)

Are we nearing the point where I could run a factorio server then?

I work for a hosting company, quite a few of my colleagues already run minecraft servers etc. I'd love to be able to run a factorio one

But will the new trailer be recorded in a resolution of 3840x2160 (4K) with 60fps?
I know it isn't necessarily needed but it would be future-proof and make the 0.3% of the people happy which have fast internet and a 4K sreen.

Still haven't got an official reply for this question.

Those icons are quite large - will they be this large in the tech tree preview as well, or will you shrink them? I think automated railway transportation may lose a big chunk of readability, i.e. turn into a small nondescript circle with strange appendages.

I trust Albert to sort it out, though.

It is amazing the progress made in a short time that factorio has been around. People may say that it has been a long time but in most game the life of it has been relatively short. I for one have been playing this game for awhile and strive to make more people aware of the game and have been working hard on all my streams to twitch to put the word out. Our group "Factorio Engineers" have been putting the word out more and more, at this point we have constant of 50 - 60 people watching us play and asking many question about the game. I know of at least 10 that have purchased the game just due to the streams we put out there.

GREAT job and keep up the good .. strike that .. GREAT work.

I think it will be time for the techtree to turn into a tree soon

This would allow larger icons

Drilling the lock implies the locksmith is selling you a new lock, that means more money. And then he has to install the new lock, more money. But before he installs it he has to re-code the new lock to your existing or new key codes, more money.
Did the locksmith even try to pick the lock? Maybe bump key?
I can see the locksmith going straight to drilling if you have very high secure 100 dolla plus cylinders.

The way the locksmith drilled your lock was he drilled the pins inside the cylinder.
The pins prevent the cylinder from spinning by falling down (via spring) like this -l-
The locksmith drills here at the dot of the I, -i- to make the top part flush, sometimes the last couple pins break from the force but once he gets them, he just turnz the cylinder and hes in.

Which is why I dont think you guys have high secure locks if he drilled it as easy as the fff made it.

I'm surprised you don't release the fix notably for this bug. I even thought you would release the fix earlier this week as it has been really gamebreaking since.

Congrats on 100th fff by the way

So, if that's the icon for oil processing then why is it a caffeine molecule? Also I think it's missing one hydrogen ;)
