[1.1.106] steam error

Hello
since like last three days, i',m constantly getting this erros when trying to launch factorio from steam
i'm getting error

Couldn't initialize Steam API. Steam-related features are disabled. Restarting steam usually fixes this issue
not sure what's happening, i have logged off from steam, i have also updated factorio passoword, and trying to log in with it in game after succesfull login in game with factorio account and pass i'm getting info that i'm not logged into steam...

restarting steam also do do not work

please help

reinstalling steam will lead to reinstalling all the games installed now...

ok you were right, it won't

i have reintalled steam, also steam-native and proton-ge-custom, but that didn't helped, still the same issue occurs

Why are you running proton on a Linux native game?

not running proton, i was reinstalling steam and steam native, also had to reinstall proton custom ge, i'm running game without any steam play options

Are you running some beta version of steam? From a quick search; have you tried steam-runtime instead of steam-native?

indeed, i was running steam beta, changed to non-beta, restarted steam, still same issue
running steam-runtime instead of native, and it's the same still the issue with steam api...

i have cleaned up memory cache from steam > options > download nothing has changed

That looks like you're launching Factorio and/or Steam via Wine or Proton. Use the native linux version instead, then post a new log.

Hello finally got it,

previously i was running factiorio like you said probably with proton

so i have finally set (tick on compatibillity) to steam linux runtime 1.0 and that worked

but this is strange because previously i was running it without any options there

I've had issues with Steam downloading the Windows version of Celeste, but I've never heard of it happening with Factorio. Very strange.

i'm not entirely sure how that happened, because previously i wasn't setting up anything in compatibillity tab and it was running fine, i guess that might have something to do with some system or any other updates being done, i'm using rolling release garuda gaming linux, maybe something have happened on that level. I was even checking firewall if it's not blocking steam api i've also set it to block any incoming lately, but it wasn't an issue
