also, the server is back online - I'm looking into why my crash detect did not restart it earlier :/

The server seems to be stuck in a desync loop right now - it's fine for all players currently connected, but any new ones will immediately desync after loading the map.

I can confirm that. I'm not able to join the server. As soon as I join, a desync happens and I reload the map, leading to the next desync and so on.

Log is not helpful either.

Here is the issue.

1) I had a blueprint in my inventory and green wire in my hand
2) I put green wire in the inventory in the slot with blueprint
3) I got an errror and crashed. After that the desync loop happened.

might want to report that to the devs, unfortunately the servers been restarted since and rotated the logs =/

Thank you all for another wonderful playthrough - this time around we will be trying out BIG, that is every resource has been set to very big but all frequencies very low, this means we will find ridiculously large patches of resources, could be fun as well - come join the funz

It's a europe based server so you will not find to much action during our night shift (altho, some of us tend to stay up late :mrgreen: )

I can't seem to connect. It says that the host is not known.

Do you have a numeric IP instead of an alphanumeric one? It doesn't work for me.

for anyone else having the same issue, update your client to match the one listed in the original post here (at time of writing 0.12.2), as older versions of factorio did not support domain names aka "alphanumerical ips" ;)

as for the biters - we have now completed this map and I have set up a new one, check map settings in the original post - welcome aboard :)

kinda sucks though, that people keeps destroying systems without setting up replacement systems instead. Please dont remove stuff if you dont want to setup a system which carry out the same function afterwards...
