Do you even need to use the shotgun with that strategy?

Also, where are all the worms? I only saw one settlement where they were present. I would think that they would cost a few more destroyers when you attacked a settlement.

Nah, I don't really have to use the shotgun, but it lets me target down the nests a bit faster, and also clears annoying trees out of the way

I've done some bases with lots of worms as well, but just didn't happen to run into many while recording this video. A couple of destroyers might die, but not enough to make a difference. Any biter base is pretty trivial with this level of tech and equipment.

I like how the green targeting circle works like night vision as well.

Love it. This is one area where I don't look too hard at balance. When you research that far you should be OP compared to them.

Oh back in the day, before Behemoth biters and spitters... Good times, good times...

Now. if I want (almost) the same rush, as on the OP video - I need to research follower robot count to the max.

That was from 2014. Destroyers now run on DPS not burst. We have behemoth biters and a few other tweaks have happened. Destroyers are hardly as OP as they once were.
