Not sure this is for now, but what I'd like to see.
1) having an option to build automatic battle bots
2) growth of enemy forces based on distance from starting location
Basically this would be more the feature for those liking unlimited resources, kind of test for throughput and default limit for the base size. The more you grow, the more offense you get. militarization to maximum.

Both of the things already are in the game. There are destroyer bots in the capsules (although these might not be exactly what you mean by automatic battle bots). And enemy bases increase with distance, up to some limit. If they increased more, there soon wouldn't be any biter-less place left

If you think there shouldn't be, then the option "enemy bases" in new game dialog is exactly for you

i created a world with highest settings for the biters and hell were there alot i had soo little room to build around in peaceful before a biter attacked me and they all followed
