[0.10.8] Disappearing blue-printed buildings

This is an annoying bug I have just noticed, I am still not sure how to reproduce it exactly (what it is causing). Currently I am not producing solar panels in fast enough rate so when I place some blueprints to construct say 500 of these, it takes a while to finish it. When I move very far from the construction site, it happens that blueprinted solar plants which are not yet finished disappear. Not sure whether it is caused by some bug in logistic network, or just distance? Happened to me three times today.

Yes, ghost entities disappear after a defined time. I believe the default value are 5mins but can't remember for sure.
So I would call it not a bug.

Each object in your placed blueprint has a purple bar that shows how much time is left to construct it. It's about 10 minutes. Afterwards you can just place down your blueprint again if it didn't get fully constructed in time.

Ok, then this is no bug, but just plainly stupid. I don't see any reason for any limit. If developers want destroyed buildings to disappear, then it should be done separately.

Well, it is true, that the time limit was there for the destroyed buildings (it was created this way when blueprints and ghost building didn't even exist). So it would make sense, the blueprints/ghost buildings would stay forever.
