- the distance between the tracks is exactly one track (two tiles).
- Now try to place a train stop. It is not possible to place a signal, if
--- you come with the cursor from top (above both tracks) and want to place the signal on the upper track into right direction,
--- you come with the cursor from down and want to place the signal on the lower track into left direction
But it is possible to place a blueprint including a train stop. Once the blueprint is set, I can place also the real train stop instead.

I managed to reproduce this after monkeying around with tracks and signals and then realizing that ssilk was talking about train spots.
The problem is the cursor skips positions (snaps to a grid?) depending on whether you move the cursor from the top or from the bottom.
I can make an animated gif showing this when I get home, if necessary.

In the following screenshoots I move the mouse slowly from top to down. Every time the screen changes I make a pic.

Quite good idea, but useless, cause there will be so much changes withing the next year, that it needs to be changed about every 2 weeks.
