That's really disappointing, I was pumped to see some of your work and have a run through with the camera on. Those showcases are really really old, you've been around a while! When were they from .8?

Pretty sure they're a good bit earlier than .8. Version .6.4 would be my guess.

Another update. Got a few more episodes out over the past two weeks. I'm really liking how this series has turned out. I'm getting quite a body of work together that really shows a lot of different aspects of factorio and most of all, how to get them right. Thank you to everyone who has participated and sent in a factorio. I couldn't have done it without you guys

I've got my money on he loses track of how many reloads he does to get it right.
That, or he just deconstructs/destroys the trains

Also, I won't record it, but I can take a well-experienced whack at fixing this up. I can already see a few issues in the one shot, I'm sure there are others off-screen.

That's a hell of a network if it ever ran smoothly.
But after one gets stuck outside the main base, they all quickly will.
Fix the routing problems, and most of the time most of them will fix themselves.

This is the only area I'm really having troubles with atm, used to have issues up at the main base but fixed that when i got rid of the circle junction I had at it's entrance.
Main issues with this is that all the ore traffic runs through it and there's a base right there.
Only other time I have issues is when the trains detour rather than wait.

So I think I've got it fixed, it hasn't deadlocked after running for a while. Still doesn't run smooth but I think I've got it unable to easily deadlock.

Mainly got rid of some of the extra routes and spread it out.

Dude, you missed train school 101.

You either drive on the left or you drive on the right. YOU CAN'T DO BOTH!

Verdict: its farked. only way to fix it is to reverse a portion of your train setup.

Also, your signals are whack dawg.

EDIT:

Furthermore, its a hell of a system. You have so many trains running around its on a whole new level

Two biggest problems, too many signals that are fouling up your multple junctions and the whole switch in driving direction. Apart from that, impressive. If you had kept the same system on the left as the right, you would be in a much better position.
