Endgame belt prod3/speed3 Green Circuit build
I have found the basic idea of the design somewhere and then refined it. Fills 2 belts without gaps. Chests are added due to not big enough buffer in the speeded up machines and long pickup times of stack inserters. http://i.imgur.com/XLCBKC1.png 0eNq1XNtu4zgM/Rc/JwtRd/VXBoNFkgodYxPHsJ3BFEX/fZ1eg1Z2...

Re: Solar farm fit for huge bases
In my opinion placing by hand is huge PITA. I'm approaching ~2 GW by now (or is it 3? I don't know) and I would never have laid that out with personal roboport...

Why would you make "2.0" game if 1.0 isn't in beta yet?

Re: [0.14.21] launching Factorio disables Compiz on linux
It does stil persist in .15.19 (current version).
It sounds very much like the linked post is connected to this one. For additional info I can turn the compiz on back without any problem (in fact I do).

Re: Logistic Network Needs to be smarter
Bots are supposed to be dumb so that they require some thinking to use and don't replace trains and belts completely. As long as you're using them properly (networks over small areas, convex networks etc), they behave just fine.

Re: Tileable Nuclear Reactor Design
Nice! Let me quote my own post from a while ago (I've built simillar setup, but a tiny bit more compact): Below there are pictures of unit stacked from _two_ 2x4 setup tiles. To pipe water to more than 2 units you need some fiddling with underground pipes and moving turbines further away, but it's e...

Honestly, those ideas are terrible and overcomplicated. If you feel like it, PacifyerGrey linked to a good topic to read.

Re: creating a rail intersection test bed (need your input)
For me LLCCCC on 2-spaced rails (4 tiles between them), one lane in each direction. You coud add LCC (for smaller networks).

Re: Chunk-aligned modular railway system with LTN Stations
Nope. But it's very convinient to build stuff chunk-aligned, then if you leave X chunks of free space you're sure that your stuff will fit.

Re: Chunk-aligned modular railway system with LTN Stations
After some testing, there are certain problems with your intersections. If train is taking turn on the T one, train in the other direction can't take same path (it's blocked) even though their paths don't intersect.. Becouse of that, the throughput is often poor. Are you able to fix it?
