[0.12.1] [Oxyd] Possible Bot Related Crash

I've got a crash that I can't quite identify the reason for. That said, I'm going to make a wild guess and say it might be related to a crash reported for 0.12.0 in this thread based on some similarities in the log, but unfortunately I haven't been able to narrow down the exact trigger of the crash. For the brave and curious among us it consistently happens in less than a minute on the save file I uploaded.

Unfortunately from a testing standpoint there's about 500-2000 bots flying around the map at any given time, and I don't have the effective tools to track the suckers.

Segfault - loaded the autosave and kind of did the same thing again - and it segfaulted again.

The save is an game from 0.11

move to the north - take a left around the walls. And e few secounds after passing the walls - segfault.

Thanks. I assume this crash wasn't happening in 0.12.0 and only started in 0.12.1, is that right? If it is, do you have an older version of this map that was saved in 0.12.0?

This seems to be this crash. Do happen to have an earlier version of this map saved in 0.12.0? Assuming it worked fine in 0.12.0, that is.

I could not play it in 0.12.0 - it failed to load. So this is the only version I have.

0.12.0-36 Save File

This is my oldest (only about 12 minutes before the crash save though) autosave for that map, is technically from 0.12.0, but unfortunately still has the crash. For what it's worth I've noticed that it happens 13 minutes into the save in this post, and it doesn't seem to care whether or not I do anything, since I didn't place any blocks or hardly move for the time I waited to see if it would crash. For thoroughness the crash from this save is below.

If you want I do have an older save of the map marked 0.11.13-0, but it's nearly 3 hours older than the autosave. I could try and run it overnight tonight and see if that one crashes as well, or I can just post it here if you'd like it.

Thanks. And yes, I'd like the 0.11.13-0 map as well. Just post it here, I can run it overnight myself if necessary. :)

I've merged pnlarsson's thread into this one because it is the same bug.

It appears that something went wrong with your saves in the early 0.11 era, but the game only started crashing now. I've added migration code to 0.12.2 that will automatically fix your saves when loading, so you'll be able to continue your maps.

Fantastic! Glad it was found so fast, looking forward to 12.2.
