[0.11.18][slpwnd] Unexpected crash (Entity info related)

[0.11.18][slpwnd] Unexpected crash (Entity info related)

Whilst playing my own save, I got an unexpected error and the game quit on me.
The map I was playing was originally created in SP, I believe early 0.11, but it has also been opened up to MP before. Whilst encountering the error it was in SP mode.
The crash occured as I was sandwiched inbetween a Roboport and an Active Provider Chest, and then tried to remove said Chest.
Interestingly enough, the game seems to have autosaved in the exact moment of the crash, since my most recent autosave is from exactly after the crash.

Thanks for a very detailed report. The information about autosave occurring at the same time lead to solving the problem. This will be fixed in 0.11.19.

I guess you could post some bug reporting guide (eg. what info would you like in case of different bug types, or just checklist) so we're able to report them more efficiently. It just came to my mind after reading this bug report, so following it:
  • save before crash
  • save after crash
  • log file
  • mod list
  • game version
  • description
  • steps to reproduce
  • OS/hardware
In random order.

Yes, I know, but more detailed one. So with little will everybody can do "very detailed reports" properly :)

I think the devs are old enough to know what they really need. ;)
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.
